Caltor provides engineers for client engagements and maintains a bench of engineers for future work.

• Write each job opening with the founding partner who needs the hire and keep it current until it closes
• Read and screen applications from the careers page and email, and keep each candidate’s record and stage current
• Find engineers for client engagements and the company’s bench beyond those who apply
• Arrange interviews and collect a written scorecard from every interviewer
• Maintain a pool of strong candidates, with their consent, and contact them when a role opens
• Ensure every rejected candidate receives a personal rejection with a stated reason
• Onboard each new hire, including documents, an identity check, a contract approved by a founding partner, and the first day
• Keep employment records, contracts, time off, and documents current for the whole team
• Handle applicants’ and employees’ personal data under the privacy notice and its retention periods

• Experience hiring software engineers or other technical roles
• Experience running hiring end to end, including sourcing, screening, interviews, and offers
• Experience with HR operations, including onboarding, employment records, and contracts
• Experience hiring across countries for a remote team
• Clear written English and discretion with personal information
• Availability for part of the working day to overlap with New York business hours (9am to 5pm Eastern)
