Business development manager for corporate blogs

Kun.uz, Uzbekistan's largest independent media outlet with over 20 million readers a year, is building a new business line: corporate blogs. Companies come to us because they trust our newsroom and its standards: useful, clear, practical content written for the reader. The client decides what to talk about. Our editors decide how to tell the story and how to get it in front of the right audience. We're looking for someone to grow this product into a visible, fast-growing part of our business.

• Find and win new corporate clients across banking, fintech, retail, IT, telecom and other sectors
• Run meetings and pitches, negotiate, and close deals
• Build and manage the sales pipeline and own the revenue target for this business line
• Promote the product itself through client case studies, publications, speaking slots and industry events
• Establish Kun.uz corporate blogs as the go-to format for companies that want to speak to their audience honestly
• Manage existing clients together with the editorial team, from the first brief to the results report
• Bring back market feedback and suggest ways to improve the product

• 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, PR, advertising or media partnerships
• You sell value, not reach, and you understand the difference between quality content and advertising
• Strong communication skills and confidence negotiating with senior executives
• Fluent Uzbek and Russian.
• Self-starter who wants to build a business line, not just complete tasks
