Area sales manager in pharma

We are currently recruiting a new Pharma & Dietary Supplements Area Sales Manager to develop and manage sales of value-added ingredients to manufacturers in the pharmaceutical and dietary supplement sectors in Portugal. Your main mission will be selling and giving technical support to our customers.

• Visit and develop relationships with customers in the pharmaceutical and dietary supplements sectors.
• Provide technical support to our Portuguese customers.
• Develop sales and margin targets in the area.
• Understanding customer needs and seek solutions to potential problems.
• Collect and analysing sales figures.
• Align actions with the company's objectives and strategies.
• Keep updates of new products and competitors.
• Create customer presentations, offers and brochures.
• Assist to different international fairs.

• Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Food Science, Biotechnology or related field.
• Preferably a Pharmacist or a professional with a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Minimum of 3 years' previous sales experience in the pharmaceutical or dietary supplements industry.
• Good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
• Good knowledge of the Portuguese market.
• Availability to travel.
