Software Engineering Manager

Wrike provides a work management platform that helps teams and organizations collaborate, create, and bring work together in one place to reduce complexity and increase productivity.

• Shape and build product experiences, using metrics such as customer value, adoption, reliability, and quality to measure impact
• Own projects end to end, from discovery and solutioning with Product and Design through planning, execution, launch, follow-ups, and maintenance
• Partner with Product to define, communicate, and track team goals and OKRs aligned with product and company strategy
• Make prioritization and trade-off decisions across scope, quality, and speed
• Lead planning, estimation, and phased rollouts for large cross-functional projects and customer-impacting changes
• Improve team processes, tools, and collaboration patterns, including using AI and automation to increase efficiency and value
• Partner with Product Management and Design as an integrated triad to deliver customer-centric solutions
• Lead a cross-functional team of software engineers and collaborate with Product, Design, platform and service owners, and organizational stakeholders
• Drive initiatives from conception to results, take responsibility for outcomes, and follow through on commitments

• 5+ Years of relevant industry experience in engineering, technical leadership, and/or management
• 3+ Years of management experience, including leading cross-functional teams
• Proven track record of delivering measurable business, customer, technical, or delivery results
• Experience giving direct, timely feedback and handling difficult conversations with clarity and empathy
• Solid engineering background, including the ability to review designs, ask technical questions, and challenge decisions and estimates
• Experience planning, prioritizing, and executing complex customer-facing projects
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience setting team goals and using metrics to manage and improve team performance
• Strong track record in coaching, career development, and performance management
• Proficiency with agile development practices and iterative delivery
• Strong business and product sense, with the ability to connect technical work to customer value and company strategy
