CloudFerro develops a cloud platform that supports the European space industry, climate research, and scientific projects.

• Develop components for PaaS services;
• Design solutions for multi-tenant environments and large-scale systems;
• Collaborate with the Product Manager to develop solutions that meet business requirements;
• Create prototypes and proofs of concept for new solutions;
• Develop existing code and implement new components;
• Make technical decisions that account for security, scalability, reliability, and maintainability;
• Ensure code quality through code reviews, automated tests, refactoring, and engineering best practices;
• Diagnose complex issues across PaaS services, shared services, and cloud infrastructure;
• Collaborate with other technical teams;
• Create and maintain documentation and standards.

• Good knowledge of Python;
• Practical experience with at least one framework: FastAPI, Flask, or Django;
• Knowledge of REST API design, including CRUD operations, error handling, data validation, and versioning;
• Experience building persistence layers with SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (Redis), including data modeling and migration management;
• Kubernetes knowledge sufficient to independently deploy, configure, and troubleshoot a service;
• Regular use of AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code and Copilot;
• Nice to have: Go, Linux, Kubernetes and cloud environments, distributed solutions for multi-tenant and large-scale systems, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, observability (structured logging, metrics, distributed tracing), full-stack engineering experience.
