• Developing components that form part of PaaS services.
• Designing solutions for multi-tenant environments and large-scale systems.
• Collaborating with the Product Manager to develop solutions that meet business requirements.
• Creating prototypes and proofs of concept for new solutions.
• Developing existing code and implementing new components.
• Making technical decisions that take security, scalability, reliability, and maintainability into account.
• Ensuring code quality through code reviews, automated tests, refactoring, and good engineering practices.
• Diagnosing complex problems at the intersection of PaaS services, shared services, and cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborating with other technical teams.
• Creating and developing documentation and standards.

• Good knowledge of Python.
• Practical knowledge of at least one framework (FastAPI, Flask, Django).
• Knowledge of REST API design principles: CRUD operations, error handling, data validation, versioning.
• Experience building a persistence layer using SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (Redis) — data modelling, migration management.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes sufficient to independently deploy, configure, and troubleshoot your own service.
• Fluent use of AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Copilot) as a regular part of your engineering toolkit.
