International sales manager for plant-based ingredients

At Planture, you'll learn global trade from the ground up: how plant-based ingredients are made, how prices move in the market, and how to spot opportunities, close deals, and coordinate supply chains across borders. We're an international distributor of plant-based food ingredients, specialising in sweeteners, starches and proteins. We connect manufacturers and food producers around the world and help make ingredients for the food of the future more accessible.

• You'll build your own client portfolio from scratch. Full ownership, from first call to final delivery.
• Represent Planture at international trade fairs.
• Travel abroad to meet clients, suppliers and potential business partners.
• Research markets and spot opportunities.
• Build long-term relationships.
• Negotiate and close deals.
• Own portfolio, including profit P&L responsibility.
• Work with manufacturing partners across the EU.
• Get hands-on with the technical side of sweeteners, starches and proteins.
• Track pricing and market trends, and learn to forecast where prices are heading.
• Coordinate logistics with our team.

• Bachelor's or master's degree
• Fluent in English
• + Dutch, French, German, Spanish or Italiano
• Based in or near Amsterdam
• You love meeting people and building relationships
• You're driven by clear goals and follow through
