Business Development Manager

The client is an international organization operating within the defence and security sector.

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the defence sector;
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to evaluate and pursue new growth opportunities;
• Support the development of new products and service initiatives based on market research and industry requirements;
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers, industry partners, and government stakeholders;
• Assess business opportunities from both strategic and financial perspectives, including profitability and ROI;
• Monitor market trends, procurement activities, and competitor initiatives to support strategic decision-making;
• Contribute to the development and execution of business development and go-to-market strategies;
• Support the expansion of MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) capabilities and service offerings.

• Experience in business development, strategic marketing, programme development, or growth initiatives within the defence industry;
• Hands-on experience in developing MRO activities, including spare parts management, support services, and cooperation with domestic and international industrial partners;
• Strong analytical and research skills;
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills;
• Ability to create and execute effective business development and marketing strategies;
• Good understanding of the defence sector, including procurement processes, regulations, and key market players;
• Strong commercial and financial acumen;
• Security Clearance ("Confidential") or willingness to undergo the clearance process;
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Military Studies, Engineering, or a related field;
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
