Foodforecast is a Cologne-based tech start-up that reduces food waste along the supply chain using artificial intelligence. The company analyzes historical sales data from various sectors, including bakeries, supermarkets, and catering, and combines it with external factors like weather, holidays, or location specifics to generate precise, daily production and ordering forecasts that integrate into existing systems.

задачи

  • Analyze markets and competitors to identify attractive segments, industries, and companies for market entry;
  • Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities;
  • Derive recommendations for the further development of existing solutions to open up new markets;
  • Identify and qualify enterprise target accounts;
  • Build and maintain structured target account lists;
  • Support and further develop outbound strategies in coordination with sales and marketing;
  • Establish and maintain sales partnerships with ERP providers, POS system manufacturers, and consultancies;
  • Negotiate and structure partnership agreements and manage partner relationships;
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade fairs, and conferences;
  • Prepare recommendations on market priorities and go-to-market approaches for management;
  • Evaluate new markets and establish initial local contacts for international expansion;
  • Maintain opportunity and partner pipelines in the CRM and provide regular reporting.

требования

  • Experience in the B2B sector, ideally in business development, sales, partnerships, or strategy/consulting;
  • Analytical and structured mindset with the ability to evaluate markets and target groups based on data;
  • Proactive approach to building relationships and networks;
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and ability to contribute own ideas for market development;
  • Strong communication skills and ability to present complex topics clearly;
  • Very good command of German and English (written and spoken);
  • Nice to have: Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and common research tools.
