Business Development Manager

Essange Reagents is an international provider of high-quality diagnostic reagents with a scientific foundation in immunohematology and immunodiagnostics. The company develops, manufactures, and commercializes innovative solutions for laboratory diagnostics worldwide, including the Monocyte Activation Test (MAT), which serves as a cell-based alternative to animal-based pyrogen testing.

• Drive the international commercial growth of the MAT portfolio;
• Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities within the pharmaceutical and diagnostics industry;
• Manage the full commercial cycle from prospecting and opening doors to negotiating agreements;
• Develop long-term strategic partnerships with pharmaceutical manufacturers, distributors, and key industry stakeholders;
• Position MAT as an innovative solution within the market;
• Shape the commercial strategy and make a direct impact on the organization's success.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Immunology, or a related field;
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development, strategic sales, or commercial account growth within pharma, biotech, or diagnostics;
• Proven track record in generating new business and managing the full sales cycle;
• Experience developing strategic customer relationships and growing recurring revenue;
• Strong commercial mindset combined with scientific credibility;
• Excellent communication skills in English;
• Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis;
• Nice to have: Established network within the pharmaceutical and/or IVD industry.
