Project Manager

AvenDATA provides enterprise data archiving and legacy system decommissioning solutions. The flagship platform, ViewBox, enables global organizations to preserve and access business-critical historical data. The company utilizes an AI-first development approach, integrating artificial intelligence into software engineering, project execution, testing, documentation, and quality assurance.

• Lead the planning and execution of software development projects for ViewBox;
• Coordinate international software engineering team;
• Transform business requirements into technical solutions in collaboration with developers;
• Manage priorities, milestones, releases, and delivery schedules;
• Leverage modern AI development tools to improve productivity, quality, and delivery speed;
• Identify technical risks and remove project blockers;
• Ensure high-quality software delivery through structured planning and continuous monitoring;
• Drive continuous improvements across development processes;
• Report project status directly to executive management.

• Previous experience as a Software Developer with hands-on engineering knowledge;
• Strong understanding of modern software architectures and engineering practices;
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or Cursor;
• Experience with Agile methodologies and Jira;
• Excellent communication and organizational skills;
• Strong analytical thinking and a proactive mindset;
• Fluent in English;
• Nice to have: German.
