Product Owner

Consensys is a blockchain and web3 software company that builds products and infrastructure for the decentralized web. The organization focuses on enabling users, developers, and institutions to participate in the next generation of the internet through platforms like MetaMask and Linea.

• Own the vision and roadmap for Universal KYC and MetaMask Passport;
• Build the underlying identity platform by creating scalable verification primitives and standards;
• Design a seamless, low-friction KYC experience to reduce time-to-first-transaction;
• Drive adoption across MetaMask by partnering with internal teams to integrate the identity layer;
• Lead execution end-to-end, aligning cross-functional teams and delivering measurable outcomes.

• Proven experience building or scaling identity verification (IDV), KYC, or onboarding products;
• Strong background in fintech with exposure to Web3;
• Hands-on experience working with identity verification providers such as Sumsub, Veriff, Onfido, Persona, or Stripe Identity;
• Familiarity with compliance workflows including KYC, KYB, and customer due diligence (CDD) processes;
• Track record of delivering platform products adopted across multiple teams;
• Ability to operate across both technical systems and user experience;
• Nice to have: First-principles thinking, deep user empathy, strong understanding of trust, privacy, and compliance trade-offs, structured communication skills, high ownership.
