Axel Springer develops journalism as a business model and invests in forward-looking technologies. Its FP&A Markets team supports group-wide performance management across international markets.

• Prepare, consolidate, and analyze financial and performance data for national and international markets;
• Develop reporting, dashboards, and KPI structures to ensure data quality and consistent reporting;
• Support national and international subsidiaries with reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and planning processes;
• Analyze financial developments with portfolio and investment teams, identify deviations and their causes, and derive recommendations;
• Support management reviews and fact-based steering with analyses, visualizations, and reliable decision-making materials;
• Develop data structures, reporting standards, and controlling processes to promote harmonization across markets;
• Drive automation and the use of modern analytics and AI solutions in Finance in collaboration with BI, Data, and Systems teams.

• Several years of experience in FP&A, controlling, or corporate finance;
• Strong knowledge of management reporting and large-scale data analysis;
• Confident presence in an international corporate and multi-entity environment;
• Experience collaborating with international stakeholders and deriving concrete recommendations;
• Very good Excel skills and experience with BI tools such as Power BI, SAP BW, or SAC;
• Strong analytical skills, understanding of data and reporting structures, and interest in automation, data analytics, and AI applications in Finance.
