• Lead the preparation and review of the group’s external financial statements under IFRS and support the preparation of other reporting-related documents
• Prepare technical accounting memos and position papers on complex or judgment-heavy topics, and present those positions to senior management and external auditors
• Collaborate across the business to gather information and produce accurate, complete financial and non-financial disclosures
• Monitor IFRS developments, assess their impact on GetYourGuide’s reporting, and recommend actions to senior stakeholders
• Improve reporting processes, accounting policies, and documentation standards

• 8+ Years of financial reporting experience, combining Big 4 audit experience with meaningful in-house or industry experience
• Strong command of IFRS
• Proven experience preparing and reviewing financial statements and disclosures, and drafting and defending technical accounting positions
• Ability to work across functions and turn complex financial and non-financial information into clear, decision-useful information
• Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining quality and accuracy
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent)
