SAP Basis administrator

Sonova is a leading hearing care provider headquartered in Switzerland.

• Install, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot SAP systems and associated databases in line with defined SLAs
• Manage and monitor the operating systems and technical infrastructure supporting SAP environments
• Provide SAP Basis support and technical guidance to SAP functional and technical teams
• Collaborate with IT Operations to implement controls for new technologies and ensure high availability and recoverability
• Plan and execute SAP transport management, patching, upgrades, and enhancement package deployments
• Support weekend and off-hours maintenance activities to uphold system availability and security standards
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergency SAP support
• Mentor and guide internal colleagues and external contractors within the SAP Basis/Auths team

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ Years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration, including system upgrades and transport management
• 2+ Years of SAP HANA database administration, including tuning, upgrading, and performance optimization
• 3+ Years of experience with relational databases such as MS SQL Server
• Strong background supporting SAP systems in Windows environments
• Experience with enterprise-scale SAP implementations and migrations
• Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to support, guide, and occasionally act as deputy on SAP Basis topics
