• Build a self-service Data Platform that enables teams to develop data products reliably;
• Evolve the platform to support new data use cases including real-time analytics, batch processing, and machine learning;
• Build and maintain secure, scalable, and compliant data infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and automation;
• Enable data ingestion, processing, and consumption at scale as self-service offerings;
• Mentor teammates by sharing technical knowledge, providing constructive feedback, and driving engineering excellence.

• Experience with one or more programming languages;
• Strong understanding of data engineering principles including distributed data processing, stream processing, and data storage systems;
• Fluency in using infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes in a cloud-first environment;
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to take ownership of work end-to-end;
• High sense of ownership and accountability with a focus on the long-term health of the data ecosystem;
• Nice to have: Java.
