ABN AMRO Bank N.V. is a financial institution focused on customer experience, sustainability, and digital innovation. The Finance and Risk Data Domain team develops AI-driven solutions to unlock data value and support informed decision-making across the organization.

• Design and create AI models and applications;
• Explain the value of designs and defend technical choices;
• Convince stakeholders of the value brought by AI applications;
• Coach and train less experienced engineers in the proper use of AI;
• Guide teams through the full pipeline from proof of concept to production design and implementation;
• Train teams to maintain developed applications.

• 8+ Years of experience in machine learning engineering;
• Proficiency in Python and Spark/PySpark;
• Experience with Databricks and Azure AI services;
• Strong knowledge of SQL;
• Expertise in software development practices including clean code, SOLID principles, and design patterns;
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;
• Nice to have: AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot), experience establishing and maintaining structured AI context, ability to embed team standards and architectural decisions into reusable context, experience contributing to shared AI assets.
