50Hertz Transmission GmbH operates electric power transmission infrastructure. Its Regelleistung internet platform supports the systems security of the German electricity grid and connects the four German transmission system operators.

• Develop and maintain a distributed system consisting of React web applications and Java Spring Boot services;
• Develop and maintain TypeScript/React component libraries for frontend development;
• Contribute across the entire service lifecycle, including design, build, and run;
• Take on development, support, and operations tasks for service applications;
• Analyze, resolve, and sustainably prevent production and stability issues;
• Build and improve service and operations structures;
• Support release and operations processes;
• Ensure code quality, security, documentation, and best practices;
• Collaborate closely with operations, architecture, Product Owners, and other stakeholders;
• Work in a cross-functional Scrum team with backend, full-stack, UX/UI developers, and architects.

• Completed degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification;
• Several years of professional software development experience with TypeScript and JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue;
• Experience developing and maintaining Java services with technologies such as Spring Boot and Spring Cloud;
• Experience working with databases such as Postgre SQL;
• Good knowledge of developing redundant, highly available applications;
• Good knowledge of microservice and API-centric system design;
• Experience with application containerization using technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes;
• Experience operating applications, including DevOps, Application Support, or SRE;
• Knowledge of modern development processes, including CI/CD, versioning, and automated testing;
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style;
• Very good English skills at minimum C1 level;
• Good German skills at minimum B2–C1 level;
• Nice to have: experience with cloud-native environments, knowledge of energy-industry processes such as FCR/aFRR/mFRR, experience with regulatory IT systems, experience with agile methods such as Scrum and Kanban.

• The position is fixed-term for 2 years;
• 37 Hours per week;
• Flexible working hours with a long-term working-time account;
