• Migrate a classic server-rendered MVC architecture to a single-page application with a GraphQL API backend and React frontend;
• Expand and optimize the test suite with PHPUnit, Codeception, and Cypress;
• Implement monitoring, RUM, and log management with Datadog;
• Improve the separation of existing modules and refactor legacy code;
• Scale the database setup using Aurora MySQL, TimescaleDB, Elasticsearch, and Redis.

• 5+ Years of professional experience in SaaS projects;
• Experience with web and software development in an agile team;
• Experience with modern architectures, design patterns, and clean-code best practices;
• PHP 8 and SQL;
• Unit, integration, and acceptance testing with Codeception, PHPUnit, and Cypress;
• React and TypeScript;
• RESTful APIs;
• German at a negotiating level (C2);
• English at a fluent level (C1);
• Nice to have: Apollo, GraphQL, security best practices, fraud detection, pentesting, CI/CD with GitLab, AWS Cloud, Docker;
• Candidates must not expect fully established end-to-end processes, require detailed instructions, or prefer working as isolated individual contributors.
