Data engineer in sports

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join a project in the sports sector, responsible for developing, integrating and evolving the data architecture in a Microsoft Azure environment. The professional will play an important role in building and maintaining data pipelines, integrating different sources and evolving the current platform to Microsoft Fabric, while ensuring data quality, consistency and governance.

• Develop, maintain and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines in Azure Data Factory;
• Work on building and evolving the Data Warehouse in Azure Synapse Analytics;
• Integrate data from different sources, namely APIs, databases, files and other data sources;
• Ensure data quality, consistency and reliability throughout the different integration processes;
• Contribute to good Data Governance and information management practices;
• Participate in evolving and modernizing the data platform to Microsoft Fabric;
• Collaborate on defining and implementing integration solutions between different systems and applications;
• Support API development and management when necessary.

• Professional experience in Data Engineering in a Microsoft Azure environment;
• Solid experience with Azure Data Factory;
• Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics;
• Experience implementing ETL/ELT processes;
• Experience integrating data through APIs;
• Experience integrating and processing data from databases;
• Knowledge of data architectures, Data Warehousing and systems integration.
