• Design the architecture and technical strategy for complex microservices systems;
• Establish engineering patterns and best practices across multiple teams;
• Lead critical technical initiatives and cross-team projects;
• Drive technical decision-making and architectural reviews;
• Conduct analysis and document detailed specifications;
• Align technical strategy with business objectives in collaboration with senior stakeholders;
• Drive the adoption of AI-powered tools and methodologies to accelerate development cycles;
• Mentor engineers and foster a culture of operational excellence.

• 8+ Years of backend engineering experience with expertise in microservices and distributed event-driven patterns;
• Expert-level proficiency in Go or JVM languages;
• Proven track record in making architectural decisions for large-scale distributed systems;
• Advanced experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architectures;
• Extensive experience with event-driven architectures using message bus technologies like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS/SNS;
• Deep expertise in relational and NoSQL database technologies, including performance optimization and schema design;
• Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and drive technical standards;
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with senior stakeholders;
• Meaningful experience using AI coding agents in a regular workflow;
• Nice to have: Familiarity with e-commerce, subscription-based business models, GraphQL integration.
