Backend Developer

Innoverse is a software product studio and venture builder that designs, builds, and scales digital products for startups and growing companies while co-building its own products.

• Own backend services end-to-end, from architecture through deployment to production support;
• Build and evolve REST APIs and microservice architectures for clients and internal products;
• Collaborate with founders and product teams to turn business problems into technical solutions;
• Contribute to system design decisions, code reviews, and engineering best practices;
• Investigate and resolve production issues with a reliability-first mindset.

• 5+ Years of professional backend development experience;
• Strong expertise in TypeScript and Node.js, including NestJS, Express, or similar;
• Deep understanding of backend architecture, services, APIs, queues, caching, and async workflows;
• Solid knowledge of relational databases, PostgreSQL, and SQL;
• Real production experience with debugging, incident response, and performance optimization;
• Ability to reason about trade-offs and make pragmatic technical decisions;
• Strong communication skills and comfort with async, remote collaboration;
• English level B2+, written and spoken;
• Nice to have: Experience with AWS and containerization (Docker), familiarity with event-driven architecture and message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ), exposure to AI/LLM integration or AI development tools (Copilot, Claude Code).
