Backend Developer

Timp is an integrated SaaS solution that helps yoga, physiotherapy, and pilates businesses manage bookings, payments, and schedules from one place. Since 2025, Timp has been part of Playtomic, which supports the digitalization of the fitness and wellness sector through customer-focused SaaS solutions.

• Develop backend features and solutions with Ruby on Rails;
• Build solutions end-to-end, from idea to production, autonomously;
• Make architectural decisions and add structure to the backend;
• Help scale the backend team and contribute to its technical evolution;
• Act as a technical reference for development;
• Influence decisions and align engineering, product, and business stakeholders through technical judgment, listening, and consensus-building;
• Collaborate with product, mobile, frontend, and other teams;
• Mentor less experienced team members and strengthen the team culture;
• Build new solutions beyond maintaining existing functionality.

• High technical seniority with autonomous end-to-end development experience;
• Experience developing backend systems with Ruby on Rails;
• Global product and business perspective with a customer-focused approach;
• Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly to different stakeholders;
• Constructive attitude, strong sense of responsibility, and passion for solving problems;
• Enjoyment of teamwork and motivation to support less experienced profiles;
• Good level of English;
• Nice to have: PostgreSQL, Redis, Sidekiq, Heroku, Puma.
