ux designer for enterprise infrastructure tools

Amazon’s enterprise technology products enable teams worldwide to plan, deliver, and operate a global network of 5,500+ physical sites across 50 countries.

• Own end-to-end design delivery for multiple concurrent projects, including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready specifications
• Facilitate regular design consultation sessions and provide expert feedback to product teams on work in progress and pre-launch work
• Conduct design quality assurance on shipped features and identify discrepancies between design intent and implementation
• Build and maintain a domain-specific pattern library that extends the corporate design system with reusable components
• Run regular design office hours and offer guidance and early directional feedback to teams
• Conduct user research, including shadowing, interviews, and usability tests, to validate decisions and surface unmet needs
• Contribute to cross-team experience strategy, information architecture, and the long-term vision for a unified product suite
• Collaborate daily with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to translate complex business requirements into clear, intuitive experiences
• Shape the end-to-end user experience for internal tools supporting strategic planning and investment decisions
• Partner with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate complex workflows into intuitive, scalable designs
• Lead design reviews, synthesize research findings into actionable recommendations, and prototype solutions
• Influence design direction across adjacent teams and help establish UX standards across the organization

• At least 3 years of design experience
• An online portfolio or work samples on a resume demonstrating end-to-end, user-centered design solutions and patterns across desktop and mobile devices
• Experience designing and prototyping with Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar tools
• Experience delivering design solutions as a UX designer or interaction designer
• Knowledge of usability principles and techniques
