BUX provides a mobile-first financial platform that enables users to invest and save money through an intuitive, transparent, and accessible application. The company focuses on scaling its core mobile experience while expanding into broader financial services, utilizing modern AI-assisted workflows across product discovery, design, and development.

• Own the end-to-end problem space from early discovery to implementation-ready delivery for investing and savings products;
• Define problems, uncover user needs, and shape new product experiences from the ground up;
• Explore solution directions and translate them into clear, testable designs;
• Rapidly prototype and validate ideas through usability testing and iteration;
• Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to ensure solutions are user-centred and technically sound;
• Contribute to product copy and clearly communicate design intent and trade-offs;
• Think in systems, patterns, and scalability to shape consistent solutions across the app;
• Deliver high-fidelity designs including components, variants, states, edge cases, and error states;
• Ensure designs are clear, unambiguous, and ready for engineering implementation;
• Design scalable patterns and systems that work across investing and savings experiences;
• Apply strong interaction design, usability, and accessibility principles;
• Use prototypes and concise documentation to support decision-making.

• Strong understanding of mobile constraints including iOS and Android patterns, responsiveness, performance, state handling, and platform differences;
• Ability to design with technical awareness beyond visual polish;
• Experience working on complex product domains such as fintech or banking;
• Experience working closely with mobile engineering teams in complex product environments;
• Excellent communication skills to explain design rationale and intent;
• Comfort working in ambiguity and shaping new product areas from early stages;
• Nice to have: Experience designing for savings, investing, or financial management products, experience using AI in design and development workflows, familiarity with mobile tech stacks and design systems like SwiftUI, Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, or design tokens, experience in regulated environments and understanding of compliance considerations.
