Product Designer

• Shape the evolution of project management and issue tracking in an AI-native world;
• Design user experiences for AI capabilities, including conversational interfaces, inline assistance, and background automation;
• Develop interaction patterns for complex problems, such as surfacing AI confidence and maintaining user control;
• Prototype and test new concepts to identify solutions that reduce friction;
• Maintain coherence across a large, deep product to ensure various modules function as a single engine;
• Partner with product management and engineering to influence roadmap priorities;
• Lead a small design team of two designers and establish a design process from scratch;
• Own the overall design quality bar across the product;
• Act as an individual contributor on complex, least-charted design problems.

• Proven experience leading the design of complex, data-rich productivity tools or software systems where information architecture is a primary challenge;
• Deep understanding of modern AI systems, including agentic workflows and multi-step execution;
• Experience mentoring and leading other designers with clear, constructive feedback;
• Ability to design unified experiences for both small startups and large enterprise customers;
• Strong portfolio demonstrating work from precise micro-interactions to large-scale information architecture;
• Nice to have: Commitment to craft ownership, ability to build lightweight processes, openness to collaboration, clarity in writing and reasoning, comfort with ambiguity, and a balance of strong opinions with platform convention awareness.
