Our Corporate Functions Technologies (CFT) Finance team is at the forefront of transforming how JLL manages its global financial operations — and this role sits at the heart of that transformation.

Here's what makes this different: Most Record-to-Report roles are ERP configuration and steady-state delivery. This one isn't. As Director of R2R Product Design with AI Innovation, you will shape the design and strategy of one of the first agentic AI transformations inside JLL's finance technology organization — transforming how JLL manages journal processing and month end close activities including agentic validation and posting of manual journal entries (MJE), GenAI-generated first-draft flux/variance commentary grounded in the underlying transaction data, and Oracle Data Platform / Oracle AskData-style natural-language reporting that lets Finance ask questions of close data directly instead of waiting on a manual report cycle.

As a key member of our existing R2R product focused team and working in conjunction with our JLL finance teams and our external delivery and vendor partners your role will be responsible for the delivery of various enhancements across R2R delivering the evolution of journal processing, month end close activities and reporting.

As a subject matter expert, you will own design authority before delivery — signing off that AI/integration initiatives are properly designed for business value and enterprise robustness before they enter build, not after. And you'll do this with direct exposure to senior Finance Technology leadership and meaningful influence over JLL's Accelerate 2030 strategic programme.

Reports To: Executive Technology Product Manager

Location: Gurugram, India (hybrid working: 3 days in office, 2 days flexible)

Key Stakeholders: VP Finance Operations, Global Controller, Regional Finance Directors, Solutions Architecture, Enterprise Data & AI Platform

The CFT R2R team is responsible for the end-to-end product strategy, design, and delivery of JLL's Record to Report Platform.

The team supports core finance operations across 60+ countries and works closely with Finance, Engineering, and Production Support to deliver continuous improvement and strategic transformation at global scale. This role is a named contributor to JLL's Accelerate 2030/Enterprise Business Objectives (EBO) strategy, with direct accountability against the platform-modernization and data/AI pillars.

What's Different at Director Level

This role carries distinct authority and scope compared to senior product or delivery roles:

- Design authority before delivery — you own the design roadmap and sign off that AI/integration initiatives are properly designed for business value and enterprise robustness before they enter build, not after

- Cross-portfolio scope — spans billing/order processing, accounts receivable, and third-party integrations, rather than one workstream

- Build-vs-buy decision authority — make and defend recommendations on AI and automation tooling, with clear input to procurement decisions and alignment with our Finance partners and Delivery partners

- Direct leadership visibility — present design and investment roadmaps to senior Finance Technology leadership directly

- Transformation leadership — guide the organization through AI-enabled process redesign, not just system configuration

Strategic Context

This role supports the R2R modernization program currently underway across billing, accounts receivable, and integration workstreams — translating strategy into a coherent design roadmap where AI and integration initiatives are proven out for business value before entering delivery.

You will operate at the intersection of finance operations, enterprise technology, and AI innovation, with significant input to how JLL deploys agentic automation across financial processes that directly impact operational efficiency, month end close aligned to critical reporting dates, ensure auditability and SOC compliance and drive business insights through enhanced reporting capabilities.
