• Partner with product and business teams to conduct root-cause analysis, opportunity sizing, and funnel drop-off analysis, then deliver prioritised recommendations as priorities shift
• Define, document, and maintain metric definitions and business context so stakeholders and AI tools can interpret metrics correctly
• Set up tracking and monitoring for launches and changes, and measure their impact on KPIs
• Build and maintain a reporting layer with automated alerts and root-cause analysis for unexpected KPI changes
• Design, run, and interpret A/B tests and quasi-experiments, including difference-in-differences
• Model trusted data in dbt and BigQuery, safeguarding quality through testing, documentation, and certification with Engineering
• Create reusable, AI-assisted analytics skills to scale the team’s impact and enable Product and Engineering to self-serve
• Communicate complex findings to technical and non-technical audiences to support business decisions

• 5+ Years of hands-on experience as a data analyst or data scientist, preferably in a product-focused role
• Advanced SQL and data visualisation skills
• Hands-on experience building data models in a modern cloud warehouse and transformation framework, such as dbt with BigQuery or Snowflake
• Strong understanding of data quality
• Knowledge of statistics and probability, including experiment design and interpretation of A/B and quasi-experimental methods such as difference-in-differences
• Understanding of payments or fintech operations, including fraud, chargebacks, KYC/AML, and payment success rates
• Comfortable using AI-assisted and LLM tools to accelerate analysis, with an interest in building reusable skills
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder skills, including the ability to explain complex findings to audiences up to C-level
• Able to lead projects independently
