Business development manager in financial services

• Develop and grow a portfolio of key accounts in Portugal across banking, insurance and capital markets
• Identify new business opportunities and build long-term partnerships with decision-makers (CIOs, HR Directors, business line heads)
• Act as the entrepreneur of your scope: from client relationship to mission follow-up and profitability
• Build and lead your own team of consultants, overseeing their sourcing and professional development
• Actively contribute to Taleo’s commercial strategy and growth in Portugal, in coordination with the group’s other offices

• 2 to 5 years of experience as a Business Manager, Business Developer or Account Manager within a consulting firm, IT services company or specialised staffing firm
• Exposure to finance, banking or insurance, whether on the client, consultant or sales side: this is your real competitive advantage here
• You are a true hunter: prospecting, convincing and opening doors come naturally to you
• You are autonomous, results-driven and take initiative without waiting for someone to map out the path
• You already think in terms of leadership and want to build something for the long term
• Comfortable with new technologies, digital tools and the transformation challenges facing the industry
• Fluency in Portuguese and English is required
