Business Development Manager Central Europe – Sensata Industrials

Then Sensata Technologies is looking for you. We are looking for a colleague who can combine their commercial and technical experience to strengthen and expand Sensata’s position in the EMEA markets. Sensata’s Industrial business offers cutting edge sensing, control, and switching solutions that deliver efficiency, safety, and reliability for applications like Datacenters, Power Conversion Systems, Material Handling, Factory Automation, HVAC and Electrical Vehicles.

In this role as Business Developer, you will be responsible for developing new customers in emerging markets and achieving significant long-term sales growth. You will develop business by preparing growth plans, customer target lists and executing this by setting up and enhancing strategic partnerships.

Within our Industrials Business Unit this means that you partner with (big) OEMs, Tiers and system integrators and consult our products & technologies to provide sensing and safety solutions. Few examples of applications where we as Industrials business unit are part of are Energy Storage Systems, Chillers, Compressors, Chargers, Power Inverters & Converters, Forklifts, Heat pumps, Motors etc.

You will be part of the European Industrials commercial organization and report to the European Sales Leader based in Hengelo (O) the Netherlands. In this key role within our commercial team in Europe, you will be responsible for driving business development while also growing existing development accounts to achieve pipeline growth, closing new projects and achieve revenue growth. Experience within a technology sector combined with business development acumen is required, preferably in a power conversion, electrification, sensor, or related field.

You will be working from a home office in Germany and closely working together with our European Business Center in Hengelo, The Netherlands as well our support teams located in US, Bulgaria, UK, Mexico, and China.

What we further expect;

74,400.00 EUR - 102,300.00 EUR

The salary range is published in line with the EU Pay Transparency Directive and relevant country legislation.

The starting salary offered will be based on objective, gender-neutral criteria , (e.g internal equivalency, relevant skills, experience, qualifications etc.). Applicants will not be asked for salary history.
