Business development manager

To strengthen our team in Berlin, Hamburg or Essen, we are looking for you as a Business Development Manager (m/f/d).

• As part of our new business strategy, you will actively drive the development of new digital revenue streams.
• You will be responsible for guiding the new business process from idea generation and validation through to the implementation and scaling of new business models.
• For projects with a technical component, such as AI-supported business models, you will independently develop initial functional prototypes, for example using AI coding agents such as Claude Code or Codex, enabling rapid testing before development resources are involved.
• You will take project responsibility for individual new business projects, including implementing MVPs, calculating business cases, and preparing make-or-buy decisions for scaling.
• You will be responsible for coordinating internal stakeholders and subject-matter experts, as well as external agencies and service providers.

• You have an excellent university education and initial practical experience in business development, consulting, corporate venturing, or comparable fields.
• You have initial experience delivering digital projects or developing new business models, as well as a good feel for digital and media-related trends.
• You have independently built or tested a digital prototype, for example using AI coding agents such as Claude Code or Codex, whether during your studies, in a side project, or at work, and are motivated to keep learning new AI tools and methods.
• Your agile and proactive approach to work, team spirit, entrepreneurial mindset, and the courage to take responsibility and drive new initiatives round out your profile.
