Account executive in billing

• Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and territory planning through negotiation and close.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders and understand their business needs.
• Partner across teams to shape solutions spanning spend management and related products.
• Manage your pipeline carefully and deliver accurate forecasting through disciplined CRM usage.

• 2+ years of experience in outbound business development and 1+ year in a closing sales role.
• Experience selling a spend management tool or similar financial technology product.
• A track record of strong sales performance and meeting targets.
• Experience owning a full sales cycle, from prospecting through close.
• The ability to understand complex customer requirements and craft solutions across multiple products.
• Experience developing and executing territory plans.
• Strong presentation and communication skills, particularly in meetings with multiple stakeholders and CXO-level audiences.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Experience using CRM systems consistently for pipeline management and forecasting.
• Willingness to represent Airwallex at client meetings and events, with some travel required.
• You have a track record of hitting your numbers, and you’re motivated by stretch goals.
• You’re comfortable owning the roadmap yourself.
• You’re comfortable making decisions with incomplete information and moving quickly anyway.
