HR business partner for tech hub

Avanquest builds software that simplifies digital life for everyday users and professionals, including document management, device security and browsing products. It uses AI to improve its products and create new experiences.

• Serve as the People & Culture partner for leaders and employees across the Poland team, providing guidance with care and sound judgment
• Translate global talent strategy into local action for the Polish office
• Collaborate with People & Culture colleagues and subject matter experts across offices in Canada, France and Germany to align practices globally
• Partner with managers to nurture a positive work environment and act as a culture ambassador
• Support employees through organizational change as the business evolves
• Coach managers on day-to-day people matters, including those based in Kraków and those managing direct reports there from other offices
• Own the local performance cycle, including the annual salary and bonus review process, in alignment with the global approach
• Work with the Talent Acquisition Specialist to ensure a memorable onboarding experience
• Ensure local HR practices comply with Polish labour law and internal policy
• Use data to assess what is working, identify areas for improvement and set priorities

• 5 To 7 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist
• Experience operating autonomously, strong leadership instincts and a proactive mindset
• Thorough understanding of Polish labour law and local HR practices
• Professional fluency in English and Polish
• Curiosity about HR trends and best practices, locally and globally
• Openness to multicultural organizations spanning multiple countries
• Ability to build trust quickly and become a credible partner for technical teams
