qa engineer (auto) social trading

FP Markets Group of Companies is a well-established multi-regulated broker founded in Australia that provides access to CFD trading on Forex, Indices, Commodities, Stocks, and Cryptocurrencies. The company is developing a social trading platform and operates in a multicultural environment.

• Design and develop a mobile automation framework from scratch for native iOS and Android applications;
• Develop and maintain the backend automation framework for API testing;
• Cover critical social trading user scenarios, including trade copying, deposits and withdrawals, and trading account operations;
• Extend test coverage at the web and API levels;
• Integrate tests into CI/CD with execution on every commit, pipelines, and reporting;
• Establish pre-commit quality gates using Git hooks, husky, or pre-commit, with mandatory test execution before code reaches the repository;
• Execute tests on real devices, emulators, simulators, and cloud device farms;
• Drive automation culture by introducing stabilization and automation iterations to prevent coverage degradation over time.

• Experience building mobile automation frameworks from scratch for iOS and Android;
• Experience with XCUITest for iOS and Espresso or UiAutomator2 for Android;
• Experience with Appium 2.x/3.x for native, hybrid, and mobile web applications;
• Strong hands-on experience with Android Studio, ADB, emulators, Xcode, and Simulator;
• Experience running tests on real devices and cloud farms, including BrowserStack;
• Understanding of mobile app architecture, locator strategies, gestures, and testing under different network conditions;
• Understanding that mobile tests are more logically maintained within the application repository rather than as a separate project in another language;
• Strong Java skills with modern versions and solid understanding of OOP;
• Experience with JUnit 5 and test data generation using Instancio or JavaFaker;
• Experience with Playwright for Java, Page Object Model, and stable locators;
• Experience with REST Assured, REST APIs, and authorization handling;
• Understanding of flaky tests and retry strategies;
• Experience with MariaDB or MySQL, state validation via SQL or JDBC, and test data setup and cleanup;
• Experience with Gradle, custom tasks for different test suites, GitLab CI or Jenkins, Git hooks, husky, pre-commit, Allure, and Jira;
• Nice to have: Kotlin and Swift knowledge, experience in fintech, trading, or payment products, experience using AI tools in testing, experience with Testcontainers, familiarity with App Store and Google Play guidelines.
