• Design, build, and scale test automation frameworks and internal tooling using Playwright and TypeScript;
• Own repositories, design patterns, and long-term codebase health across the test ecosystem;
• Provide abstractions, SDKs, utility libraries, and reusable components for developers;
• Drive engineering decisions around test layering, fixture design, data isolation, and environment stability;
• Partner with feature teams to architect highly testable APIs, frontends, and data pipelines;
• Own and optimize Jenkins test pipelines, reducing execution times and eliminating flakiness;
• Identify root causes of instability and slow feedback loops and implement structural fixes;
• Experiment with and integrate AI-driven testing tools and LLMs;
• Mentor engineers, define quality gates and metrics, and promote a modern Quality Engineering culture.

• 2 To 5 years of hands-on experience as an SDET or Quality Engineer focused on tooling, infrastructure, and framework design;
• Strong Software Engineering background with clean, scalable, and maintainable coding skills;
• TypeScript or JavaScript experience;
• Experience designing and architecting automation frameworks from scratch or at scale;
• Strong understanding of test design patterns, the test pyramid, data management, and test isolation;
• Experience configuring and optimizing CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins;
• Experience testing REST and GraphQL interfaces and designing reusable API client layers;
• Passion for cross-team collaboration, technical mentorship, and improving developer productivity;
• Fluent English, written and spoken;
• Nice to have: Backend or Full-stack Engineering experience, preferably with Node.js; internal developer platforms, test infrastructure, or developer CLI tools; advanced Playwright knowledge including custom reporters, fixtures, parallelization, and plugin development; Docker, ephemeral environments, dynamic test data generation, and observability tools; SonarQube or SonarCloud and automated quality gates; AI-assisted testing or LLM integration.
