• Partner with engineering, product, and design teams to embed quality practices from discovery through delivery;
• Participate in feature discussions and technical designs to prevent production issues and ensure testability;
• Build and maintain automated tests across API, contract, end-to-end, and performance layers;
• Own the quality of critical user journeys across services, integrations, and environments;
• Define testing strategies, quality standards, and best practices across teams;
• Document testing approaches and align teams on quality principles;
• Identify and evolve actionable quality metrics, including defect trends, release risk, flaky tests, and customer-impacting issues;
• Mentor engineers and QA peers;
• Review test implementations, participate in the QA community of practice, and share practical examples;
• Coach, pair with, and provide constructive feedback to teams to improve quality awareness and self-sufficiency.

• Significant experience in test automation for web applications and a strong understanding of modern software development processes;
• Strong expertise in Playwright, WebdriverIO, or Cypress;
• Hands-on experience with TypeScript and Node.js;
• Deep understanding of unit, integration, system, end-to-end, and contract testing methodologies;
• Experience developing testing strategies for complex systems and microservices;
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation integrations;
• Ability to design quality checks that provide fast, reliable feedback and support informed release decisions;
• Ability to evaluate tools pragmatically, try new technologies, and build team consensus;
• Excellent English communication skills;
• Experience working with remote teams.
