Ecommpay builds a global, data-driven payment ecosystem that provides bespoke local solutions to help e-commerce companies grow internationally.

• Maintain the quality and stability of payment fee calculation services;
• Perform component, integration, and end-to-end backend testing by developing and maintaining automated tests in Python;
• Perform manual testing during the onboarding period and for complex scenarios that are not practical to automate;
• Collaborate with teammates to understand business logic, clarify requirements, and drive solutions.

• 3+ Years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer;
• Proven track record of testing high-load backend systems;
• Expertise in developing automated tests in Python (pytest);
• Understanding of microservice architecture and experience with Docker and Kubernetes;
• Experience with relational databases and writing PostgreSQL queries;
• Proficiency in working with Redis;
• Confident working in a Linux environment;
• Experience analyzing application logs;
• Experience testing APIs with Postman or similar tools;
• Good knowledge of English and Russian;
• Ability to take ownership of tasks and deliver results independently;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Nice to have: Experience working in the fintech industry, basic understanding of Go or willingness to learn to read Go code, experience with maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, experience testing gRPC services, experience with load testing.
