Timezone / Hours: Consistent working hours that overlap with our Social Media team in Asia/Europe. U.S.-based candidates are outside the time zone range for this role.

Since 2013, THE/STUDIO has been building the definitive operating system for product creation. We are combining modern SaaS technology with custom manufacturing to make producing physical goods as seamless, fast, and scalable as launching software.

We operate two core platforms: Customize Now (our best-in-class, on-demand manufacturing platform) and Source Anything (our new SaaS product that enables customers to seamlessly work with global factories beyond our own network).

We are a profitable, previously Silicon Valley-backed, fully remote company, and we are not just looking to improve manufacturing, we are looking for a visionary operator to help us truly revolutionize the global supply chain.

We’re looking for a mid-level video editor with strong creative taste and experience creating content for brands, especially on social media. You’ll start by editing and repurposing existing footage into social content and paid ads, producing 15–20 ad creatives and variations plus 30 organic short-form videos a month. By month 3, you’ll take ownership of our YouTube channel.

• Short-form editing: Edit Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts and paid video ads with strong hooks, pacing, captions and storytelling.
• Organic vs paid: Adapt edits for organic social content and for paid advertising across Meta, TikTok and YouTube, depending on the platform and objective.
• AI-generated ads: Create video ads from specs using Claude, Fal.ai, Higgsfield or similar tools. Work from a brief, or help develop one with our media buyer, to create scroll-stopping ads.
• Repurposing: Turn existing footage into fresh content, cutdowns and ad variations for testing.
• Fast turnaround: Manage editing deadlines and complete straightforward urgent edits within 1–2 hours when needed.
• YouTube ownership (by month 3): Run the channel from ideas and shoot planning through recording, editing, thumbnails, titles and publishing.
• Performance insights: Review content performance and use what you learn to improve hooks, pacing, topics and thumbnails.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with the social media team and our media buyer on briefs, draft reviews and revisions during shared working hours.

• Experience: Mid-level brand video editing experience, with a strong portfolio of social content and, ideally, paid ads.

• Tools: Proficiency in CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or comparable tools, plus confidence using AI video tools.
• Independence: You can clarify a rough brief, manage production volume, learn new tools, troubleshoot and deliver without constant direction.
• YouTube: Experience managing YouTube content, from ideas and shoot planning to editing, thumbnails and publishing.
• Location and hours: Based in Europe or Asia, with consistent working hours that overlap with KST.
• Communication: Exceptional, professional-level English proficiency (C1/C2) with clear, concise, and articulate communication skills.
• Independent Contractor Mindset: Highly disciplined, self-motivated, and comfortable operating as a full-time, dedicated independent contractor in a 100% remote setting.
• Remote Infrastructure: Reliable setup including a fast computer, noise-canceling headset, and a rock-solid, stable internet connection.
• Experience using Claude, Fal.ai, Higgsfield or similar tools to produce video ads.
• Ability to read performance data and suggest creative improvements alongside a media buyer.
