Video Editor, Paid Social (Contract)

About us: ERG Media is an independent publisher of premium books and the home of Type 7, an automotive culture magazine and brand. We make beautiful things for car people and the brands they love, and we need ads that do the same.

The role: We're looking for a junior video editor who wants to focus on performance ad content for paid channels, mainly Meta (Facebook and Instagram). You'll work alongside our in-house videographer and the marketing team. You'll turn shoot footage, product shots and archive material into short-form ads that stop the scroll and sell.

• Edit short-form video ads for Meta in the right formats (9:16, 4:5, 1:1), including Reels and Stories placements.
• Cut multiple variations and hooks of each concept so we can test them.
• Add motion graphics, captions, text overlays and sound design to brand standards.
• Turn briefs around quickly and take feedback from the team and ad performance.
• Keep project files, assets and exports organised.

• 1-2 years of editing experience, or a strong portfolio of social and ad work.
• Confidence in Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve; After Effects is a plus.
• An understanding of what makes paid social work: hooks, pacing, safe zones and sound-off viewing.
• A good eye for typography and premium aesthetics; an interest in cars, books or design is a bonus.
• The ability to work on site at our central London office.

Freelance or contractor engagement.

Immediate start, with a commitment through mid-December 2026 and room to extend for future work.
