Based in the heart of Shoreditch, we are a multi-platform production company, social media agency, and digital media network who are currently on a quest to find a Senior Social Media Manager to join our Agency Team for a major motorsports client. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join an exceptional team and to play a pivotal role in the social output of one of the world’s biggest sports brands - are you in?

As the Senior Social Media Manager, you will be the main day-to-day point of contact for the client and will be responsible for leading a team of social producers and channel managers to deliver first-class output across a wide array of digital channels, globally. You will be responsible for maintaining exceptionally high standards across all content as well as leading and collaborating with the broader account team, including strategy, social, insights, video production, commercial partnerships and more. Content ideation, planning and social publishing all fall under your purview.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of having worked with/for a major sports rightsholder or agency. You must also be able to demonstrate experience in growing audiences across major social platforms, including X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube & TikTok and have a strong understanding of the algorithmic and content nuances across these platforms. We’re looking for someone who is excellent at building relationships, communicates effectively, and brings a lively and can-do energy to the table to the benefit of their team!

An understanding of and an interest in motorsport is also a must, as is a willingness to work regular weekends throughout the year to cover the live sporting action. This will also include irregular out-of-hours work as races take place all over the world.

• Owning regular dialogue with the client and stakeholders to communicate the state of play and to ensure output consistently meets high expectations. Building a really strong, positive, collaborative relationship with the client, built on mutual respect and trust is absolutely vital.
• Delivering the execution of the global social media strategy in line with strategic objectives.
• Ensuring all required commercial content is delivered across platforms.
• Overseeing planning and maintaining of weekly and monthly content calendars across multiple channels and accounts.
• Directing the team of social producers, channel managers, editors, designers and community managers and leading the team when it comes to ideation, creation and publishing of content.
• Working closely with the Account Management lead and Senior Content Strategist to ensure wider strategic objectives are being considered and delivered against.
• Managing upwards successfully to ensure any issues/challenges/bottlenecks are communicated and resolved quickly.
• Ensuring continual best-practice in content ideation, creation and publication across YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, WhatsApp and Snap.
• Overseeing projects, workflow, deadlines, community management across all channels, and ensuring consistent high-quality work.
• Monitoring performance of content using platform analytics and working closely with the analyst team to gain insights into channel and content performance, utilising those insights to drive improvements/growth.
• Contributing to quarterly reporting and the presentation of those reports to the client, ensuring that all recommendations are followed up and implemented.
