technical solutions consultant (Android Automotive)

The Android Automotive Partner Engineering team ensures that cars launch with Android Automotive OS (AAOS), Google Automotive Services (GAS), and new automotive products to provide a safe and seamless experience in every car.

• Execute Automotive Compliance for AAOS, Google Automotive Services, and other automotive embedded products, aligning the automotive compliance strategy with other Android verticals such as GMS, TV, and Wear
• Work with the Android Automotive team and Automotive OEM partners to define ecosystem requirements that help ensure partners launch high-quality products
• Manage, maintain, and triage issues reported by OEMs, SoC vendors, and other partners across the Compatibility Test Suite, Vendor Test Suite, and Automotive Test Suite
• Work with third-party suppliers and execute strategies to scale Automotive Compliance for OEM partners
• Support partner communications, escalations, and exception requests with regional account teams, and help drive escalations to resolution
• Lead cross-functional teams in Engineering, Sales, and Product Management to apply emerging technologies for external clients and partners
• Oversee technical execution and business operations of Google's online advertising platforms and product partnerships, from concept design and testing to data analysis and support
• Balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, develop innovative solutions, and act as a partner and consultant
• Build tools, automate products, oversee partnership execution and operations, develop product strategy, and prioritize projects and resources
• Define and execute a Compliance strategy for an expanding product portfolio
• Ensure Automotive requirements, test suites, and policies are updated with new products and Android releases, working cross-functionally with Engineering, UX, Product, and Program Leads

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 4 Years of experience in Android Systems design, including Automotive Systems design
• 2 Years of experience in partner management, including project, escalation, and product partnerships
• Experience in project or program management and working with internal and external stakeholders
• Experience with an object-oriented programming language such as Java, C++, or Python
