Project manager in data warehousing

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager for a strategic data transformation program. The project involves changing how data from newly established business domains is loaded into the data warehouse and Cloud Data Lake. We are looking for someone experienced in data migration projects, implementing new data warehouse data sources, and Cloud Data Lake in large organizations, preferably in the financial or banking sector.

• Manage several business, regulatory, and IT projects and programs simultaneously, in line with agreed assumptions regarding scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Manage the project team, including supporting team members' effectiveness and motivation.
• Manage the project budget using dedicated internal tools.
• Coordinate cooperation with external vendors and oversee the work assigned to them.
• Develop short- and long-term implementation plans to ensure project objectives are achieved.
• Ensure the availability of the resources required to deliver the project.
• Identify, monitor, and effectively manage project and program risks.
• Manage communication and cooperation with key business and technology stakeholders.

• Several years of experience managing complex end-to-end IT projects.
• Experience with data warehouse, data migration, or Cloud Data Lake projects.
• A proven track record of successfully delivering at least 3 large projects in a complex technology environment.
• Experience in the financial and/or banking sector.
• Very good knowledge of project management methodologies (PMI, PRINCE2, Agile).
• A current certification in one of the following areas: PMI, PRINCE2, or Agile (mandatory).
• Practical experience working in waterfall and hybrid environments, as well as with scaled Agile frameworks.
• Experience managing external vendors.
• Highly developed communication skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
• Ability to effectively manage project- and program-level priorities, scope, and risk.
• Knowledge of MS Project, JIRA, and the MS Office suite.
• Strong leadership skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Good command of English, enabling project communication.
