Project manager de ciberseguridad en banca

Metrica España is looking to add a Cybersecurity Project Manager to its team, with a solid track record and proven experience managing projects in the banking sector and regulated financial environments.

• Define, plan, and manage the project scope, setting clear milestones, efficiently allocating resources, controlling the budget, and managing dependencies between different areas.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including Cybersecurity, IT Production, Infrastructure, Architecture, as well as external providers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
• Proactively identify, assess, and manage risks, blockers, and changes associated with the project. Escalate critical decisions when necessary to ensure continued progress and mitigate negative impacts.
• Supervise and coordinate implementation activities, tests (functional, security, and performance), change windows, and rollback plans, ensuring a smooth and secure transition.
• Ensure solutions are properly documented, obtain formal approvals, and facilitate their successful transition to operations teams, ensuring sustainability and post-implementation support.
• Prepare and present progress reports, risk status, and key metrics at steering committees. Coordinate the collection and preparation of evidence required for internal and external audits.

• At least 6 years of experience in project management, with a significant focus on cybersecurity.
• Proven experience in the banking sector or in highly regulated financial environments.
• Solid understanding of IT production, technology infrastructure, and critical services, including their interdependencies and availability and security requirements.
• Mastery of project management methodologies, both predictive (such as Waterfall) and agile (Agile) or hybrid, adapting to the specific needs of each project.
• In-depth understanding of key cybersecurity concepts, including, but not limited to:
• Identity and Access Management (IAM)
• Privileged Access Management (PAM)
• Vulnerability and patch management.
• Endpoint security.
• Network security (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Segmentation).
• Security monitoring and SIEM.
• Knowledge of regulations applicable to the financial sector, with particular emphasis on regulations such as DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act).
• Knowledge and application of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) principles in IT service management.
