Product Owner

Snowflake provides a data platform that enables teams to make data useful, reliable, and ready for AI applications. The company focuses on transitioning customers from batch analytics to real-time systems, positioning streaming as a core component for data production, consumption, and AI-driven workflows.

• Own the product direction, strategy, and roadmap for streaming capabilities;
• Translate complex customer problems into clear product bets and shipped features;
• Collaborate with engineering on system design, trade-offs, and execution;
• Engage with users to identify pain points, gaps, and priorities;
• Partner with design to ensure intuitive workflows;
• Work with GTM teams to launch products;
• Drive cross-functional alignment across ingestion, platform, analytics, and AI teams;
• Make prioritization decisions based on impact, scale, and customer value.

• Experience building products in data infrastructure, distributed systems, or real-time platforms;
• Strong understanding of streaming systems and event-driven architectures;
• Ability to engage deeply with engineers and reason about architecture and design choices;
• Comfort working in ambiguity and shaping direction from first principles;
• Strong communication skills and a practical, customer-first mindset;
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;
• Nice to have: Experience working with Flink or similar systems, Master’s degree.
