Product Owner

Fundraise Up is a global fundraising platform that enables nonprofits to process donations quickly and seamlessly. The company provides technology that powers millions of dollars in donations monthly, focusing on conversion rate optimization, global payment support, and accessibility-first design for leading NGOs worldwide.

• Own the Billing product area roadmap, outcomes, and prioritization;
• Define quarterly goals and success metrics;
• Partner with Engineering to deliver resilient billing systems, including accuracy, idempotency, retries, and monitoring;
• Improve revenue protection and customer experience via dunning, failed payment recovery, refunds, and dispute/chargeback-related flows;
• Define and maintain billing domain documentation, including data models, event flows, and operational run-books;
• Run discovery with internal teams and customers to uncover pain points and opportunities;
• Turn insights into clear PRDs and delivery plans;
• Establish and track core Billing KPIs;
• Drive antifraud strategy execution, including shipping real-time protections and improving rules based on observed patterns.

• 4–7 Years of product management experience with at least 1–2 years owning a technically complex domain;
• Strong understanding of payment processing, payouts, fee models, refunds/chargebacks, multi-processor setups, and reconciliation;
• Proven ability to work with engineers on backend/system design trade-offs and to ship reliable platform capabilities;
• Comfort with data, including defining metrics, building measurement plans, and using analysis to prioritize and evaluate impact;
• Clear written communication and structured thinking;
• High ownership, high discipline, and strong cross-functional collaboration;
• English C1 fluency;
• Nice to have: Experience with payment processors (Stripe Payments, PayPal, etc.) and/or financial systems integrations, experience in B2B SaaS pricing & packaging or self-serve account management, familiarity with audit/compliance requirements impacting billing (SOX readiness, SOC2 implications, etc.), experience reducing billing-related support contacts through product and tooling.
