product manager for developer platforms

Snowflake provides a data platform and is developing an agentic enterprise future. Its Developer Platform team builds foundational tools and infrastructure that simplify how developers build with data, including connectivity and programmatic interfaces such as the Terraform provider, Snow CLI, Tableau connector, and SQLAlchemy dialect.

• Own the product backlog and day-to-day execution for a key feature area of the Client Side Interfaces portfolio;
• Translate product strategy into detailed requirements, user stories, and clear specifications for the engineering team;
• Become the subject matter expert for the product and support engineering, marketing, sales, and the developer community;
• Define, track, and analyze product success and adoption metrics;
• Partner with senior product leaders to align the feature roadmap with broader strategic goals;
• Engage directly with the developer community through interviews, dogfooding, and community feedback;
• Drive features from concept to launch with direct and measurable impact.

• Have 3–5 years of product management experience with a proven record of shipping products or features for a developer-facing tool, cloud service, or technical infrastructure product;
• Candidates with 5+ years of engineering experience in developer tools transitioning into product management will also be considered;
• Understand the modern software development lifecycle, including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and API design principles;
• Act as a technically credible partner to engineering in discussions about product architecture, trade-offs, and implementation approaches;
• Demonstrate deep empathy for developers, particularly those working with data;
• Have excellent communication and collaboration skills for aligning technical and non-technical stakeholders around a shared vision;
• Demonstrate strong analytical thinking and comfort with metrics;
• Nice to have: A technical degree in CS or Engineering or equivalent software engineering experience, hands-on experience with Python, SQL, or Terraform, experience with connectivity tools, developer SDKs, APIs, or programmatic interfaces, experience building or contributing to an open-source developer community.
