Product Manager

Kraken is a crypto platform offering spot trading, margin, futures, staking, and OTC services to individual investors and institutional clients. Its Payments & Blockchain team develops infrastructure for fiat and digital payment flows across global markets.

• Own and evolve payment rails across specific methods and geographic regions;
• Lead partner integrations and manage relationships with payment processors, acquirers, and banking partners;
• Drive improvements in authorization rates, settlement speed, and user conversion;
• Collaborate with fraud and compliance teams to ensure payment flows meet security, regulatory, and operational standards;
• Drive UX enhancements through structured experimentation and customer insights;
• Ensure payment capabilities scale across the consumer app, pro trading app, and external interfaces such as on/off-ramps;
• Use data to prioritize initiatives, track performance, and improve outcomes.

• 3+ Years of product management experience focused on payments, fintech, or financial infrastructure;
• Deep expertise in payment systems and rails, including bank transfers, card networks, and/or alternative payment methods;
• Experience in EU markets;
• Experience with backend systems such as payment orchestration and API integrations, as well as user-facing features;
• Customer-centric approach focused on simplicity, trust, and conversion in payment flows;
• Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, design, fraud, compliance, and operations;
• Comfort using data to define and measure product impact.
