Product Manager

TrueLayer is a Pay by Bank network that powers real-time bank payments by combining financial and identity data. The company provides infrastructure for e-commerce, iGaming, and financial services businesses to facilitate user onboarding, payment acceptance, and payouts.

• Craft the design of the critical Payments API that serves as a gateway to products and a foundation for user interfaces;
• Lead the product vision and roadmap for consumer payments in collaboration with functional PMs;
• Partner with merchants, partners, and internal teams to design user journeys and technical aspects that maximize conversion and trust;
• Develop and champion a deep understanding of user motivations and behaviors to drive adoption and satisfaction;
• Own the sprint planning and backlog for the PayIns Engineering team;
• Collaborate with Design, Compliance, Data, and Commercial teams to deliver products balancing regulatory standards, technical excellence, and user experience;
• Identify friction, test hypotheses, and measure the impact of new capabilities using quantitative and qualitative insights;
• Define and own clear metrics for success and establish accountability for outcomes.

• Proven product management experience;
• Experience working with API-driven products or infrastructure and translating technical capability into customer value;
• Experience delivering products where customer experience depends on integrations with partners or third-party systems;
• Understanding of payment flows and the financial ecosystem;
• Strong communication skills to build alignment across engineering, design, compliance, commercial, and external partner teams;
• Ability to operate in environments where data, systems, and ownership are distributed;
• Nice to have: Experience within payments or fintech, experience building public-facing APIs.
