MAG is an international humanitarian organization that removes landmines and unexploded ordnance to release safe land for communities and works to reduce the threat of armed violence by supporting governments in the management of weapons and ammunition.

• Lead the Armed Violence Reduction work in Ukraine to reduce risks posed by weapons and ammunition in conflict-affected communities;
• Strengthen weapons and ammunition management systems to contribute to recovery and stability;
• Shape strategy, build partnerships, and ensure high-standard program delivery;
• Influence decision-making and guide the organizational approach within a complex environment;
• Manage projects from contextual analysis and development to delivery and reporting;
• Represent the organization at national and regional levels to strengthen sector coordination;
• Motivate and develop team members while maintaining high delivery standards.

• Significant experience in project management or oversight within Security Sector Reform, DDRR, or Armed Violence Reduction;
• Demonstrable experience in developing and managing complex, multi-donor projects including planning, monitoring, evaluation, and contract compliance;
• Strong expertise in new business development, proposal writing, donor engagement, and contract negotiation;
• Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with donors, government authorities, and local partners;
• Ability to lead complex portfolios in humanitarian, development, or security sector environments;
• Strong communication, representation, and organizational skills;
• Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused approach with the ability to work in politically sensitive environments;
• Nice to have: 5-9 years of relevant experience.

• Salary package of £59,698.40 per annum including all allowances;
• Accommodation provided in-country;
• Eight weeks of leave per year;
• Four international flights home per year;
