IT project manager in finance

The role of an IT Project Manager in a financial organization involves coordinating and managing IT projects to ensure their successful delivery within defined time, budget, and quality constraints.

• Comprehensively manage and coordinate IT projects.
• Collaborate with developers and subject-matter teams.
• Manage the delivery of project tasks.
• Identify and define the actions required to achieve project objectives.
• Report on project status.
• Proactively identify and escalate risks.
• Maintain project documentation and settle the project, including its documentation and budget.
• Perform other tasks related to project management.

• Experience managing an IT team.
• At least 4 years of experience managing IT projects involving the development and modification of existing solutions.
• Experience working with both internal and external IT vendors.
• Practical knowledge of project management methodologies (PRINCE2 or Agile preferred).
• Very good communication skills with teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage IT projects independently.
• A higher education degree in computer science, management, economics, or a related field.
